A Little Boy & His Coozie of Ginger Ale that is...

Sam thought he might try some of Papa's (my dad) Ginger Ale last weekend at the lake. He was definitely more enamored with the coozie than anything. Truth be told, I think the ale burned a little. Gotta love that smile of sweet satisfaction.

Look at Us Now...

My eyes are misty looking at these photos of our two little rascals. This first photo is from the first day of school in August 2009 and the second was taken this morning before they left for their last day of school. The difference is astounding to me!! They have grown so much and are becoming such beautiful little people right before my eyes. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings much less the next year.

Sam Turns 4

We celebrated Sam's 4th Birthday ALL week!! On Monday we celebrated with real cupcakes with Daddy before he had to go out of town and on Thursday (15th) we celebrated with a little healthier cake that Sam made with Nana. He had so much making his own cake and truth be known he liked that one even better, because Sam LOVES fruit! If you look closely, you will be able to see that the blueberries spell out SAM. He is really becoming such a "fine young man" as Nana tells him. His manners are blossoming and we are beginning to see all the fruits! Love my little man:)

A Little Giggle with Daddy

Maggie is beginning to really "communicate" with us these days. She giggles and laughs out loud to our silly (only baby crazy parents can make) noises. We love watching her grow, but I will have to say that I do not want this time to go too quickly. She is sleeping so well and has just slipped right into our family as if she has been here all along. My heart almost burst with happiness when I think of how much I love my little family, even on those days that I don't think I am gonna make it. Rob is such a good daddy and he loves "loving" on them!!! I love him for that.
