Kate has been such a blessing to our family and has taught us so much in her short little life. She is 15 months old now and weighs a whopping 21 lbs. and is 31 " long. I took her recently to her well check and the doctor asked me how she was eating. And my response to him was "she eats her plate and if there is any left on Sam's she eats that too! " She eats very well and really enjoys mealtime. She gets very excited when she sees her plate being prepared and as I carry it to her seat. A girl after my own heart! She has a tender sweet heart and responds well to "no touch" most of the time. She just looks at us with those big blue eyes as if to say "I'm sorry." Rob and I chuckle because Sam is quite the opposite when it comes to "testing" our authority. Sam definitely prefers the "ask for forgiveness" policy. I love their differences and appreciate them both for teaching me so much. Below are some more photos of Kate today as she played.
Kate loves to push Sam's truck around and uses it to leverage her walking.
She has just taken to looking at books by herself lately and can sit for awhile just flipping the pages.
She has a mouth full of teeth and red gums where the others are close behind.
She is almost always barefoot. She won't keep them on and that's fine by me.
She loves to look out the window and watch the birds or look for daddy coming home from work.
This is her latest crawl pattern when she is not trying to walk. On the toes!!
Our family as of January 22nd 2010 is now a family of five. Rob and I have been married for 5 1/2 years and we have three wonderful children, Sam (4) and Kate (3) and Maggie (8months).
"It's time to leave, it's time for you to be the woman I have called you to be. Follow me, trust me and put the past behind you because I've got something huge." - God's words to me!
I am a lover and follower of my savior Jesus Christ and without Him I would be nothing. I recognize my sinful heart and pray daily that He will change and mold me to be more like Him. I have a LONG way to go, but I look forward to the day that I am spending eternity with Him.
I am a stay at home mom to three amazingly beautiful little children. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure and for that I am grateful. I am a wife to a godly and loving man, who tolerates my "gemini" personality daily. I am a daughter to the most generous and kind people ever on this planet. They have taught me more than I will ever be able to explain spoken and non-spoken. I am a sister to a truly gifted and big hearted sister who has grown into such a lovely woman. She inspires me to be me and love the Lord. I am a daughter in law to a sweet, kind and loving woman who has embraced me as her own and that is a gift in itself. I am a sister in law to a spunky, funny and god-fearing woman who makes me laugh when I might would rather cry and loves my children!
Through this blog I hope to make you laugh, giggle, smile and possibly cry as you begin to understand and uncover the dailyness of where God has planted me and all the truths that make this journey so worth living.

Kate is a ray of sunshine and is 3 years old. Her little personality is bursting forth with every day that passes. She has become quite the drama queen and loves her mama. She is for sure my little shadow. We love her laugh and enjoy watching her sweet and tender heart at work every day!
Sam is 4 years old & that is hard for me to believe!! Smart as a whip and continues to blow us away with his memory and intuitive spirit. He is quite the old soul if you will. His big blue eyes staring up at you are enough to melt any heart. His laugh is contagious and his heart is as big as Texas. He favorite thing to do is to dance and sing to virtually anything. He wants very much to be like daddy and play the guitar on stage one day...and we feel sure he will.

Sweet bundle of joy!! She is truly a 3rd child because she just rolls with it...We are all so in love with her and couldn't imagine life without her laughs, smiles and sweet spirit. She was born January 22nd 2010 and has blessed us ever since!
